2010 Military Demonstration

Since

 the Summerall Guards were created in 1932, they have proudly represented The Citadel at all major events throughout the nation. Composed of sixty-one members of the First Class, the Summerall Guards represent the ultimate achievement in the military phase of cadet life. Selection for membership in the Guards is rigorous and only those who demonstrate the highest military standards are chosen. The intricate maneuvers performed by the Guards, the Citadel series, is completed without any verbal commands, and many hours of practice are required to achieve the peak of perfection.
