Children’s Art Contest

The Children’s Art Contest is an annual contest showcasing the amazing artistic talents of the youth in our community. Each year over 200 students register their artwork in the contest. Winners receive tickets to Festival events as well as other notable prizes.  First place in each division (elementary school and middle school) get to meet the North Carolina Governor during the annual Governor’s Press Conference, as well as ride in the Azalea Festival Parade.  The winning artwork, as well as other honorable mentions, are put on display at the Community Arts Center during the Azalea Festival.
