The Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour © is sponsored by the Cape Fear Garden Club, Inc.  The tour has been featured in SOUTHERN LIVING and is one of the longest-running and most popular garden tours in the South.  Profits from the Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour are distributed throughout our community as beautification and horticulture grants; scholarship grants at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Cape Fear Community College; and support for conservation efforts at Battery Island, a National Audubon Society bird sanctuary. The Club is rapidly approaching $1.2 million in distributions to the community over the past 20 years, including $102, 400 from the 2014 tour.

Applications for the 2016 Cape Fear Garden Club, Inc. Azalea Belles © will be available to high school juniors and seniors on January 26, 2016 from members of the Cape Fear Garden Club or the Azalea Belle Committee.  Young ladies desiring to become a Belle should contact a member of the CFGC to ask if they will sponsor you and help you complete an application.  Juniors must have a CFGC member sponsor.  For Seniors ONLY: If you do not know a CFGC member, you may go to 6724 Carolina Beach Road at 4:00  PM on January 26th. to be interviewed by the Belle Committee and receive an application from them.  For more information, please follow this link.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is the official beginning to the Garden Tour, and is held at Hugh Morton Greenfield Lake Amphitheater at Greenfield Lake.
