Concert Parking Information:

  • Thursday, April 6th: Cole Swindell with Michael Ray and CJ Solar
  • Friday, April 7th: Duran Duran and Special Guest
  • Saturday, April 8th: Jason Derulo with opening act Morris Day and The Time

Parking Decks:

  • The City’s Market Street Deck, 2nd Street Deck, and County parking decks will be $7/day to park; cash and bank cards accepted. One should anticipate possible delays upon entry and exit during high-volume times
  • Market Street Parking Deck – 115 Market Street (Intersection of Market and 2nd Streets)
  • 2nd Street Parking Deck – 114 North 2nd Street (Between Chestnut and Princess Streets)
  • Library Parking Deck – 200 N. 2nd Street
  • Cape Fear Community College Parking Decks – cash only
  • Nutt Street Deck
  • Hanover/3rd Street Deck (limited public parking available at this lot – this will be the first lot to fill during the Concerts)

Meters: $1.25/hr (Parking meters are free after 6:30 PM on Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday during Azalea Festival weekend).

Parade Parking Information:

The decks with entry on 2nd Street will be open until 8:30AM on Saturday, April 8th (day of the Parade). Access to 2nd Street for these decks will be via Chestnut Street from 5th Avenue. Or for those arriving via MLK, traffic will be directed off of 3rd Street via Davis Street, to 4th Street, and then to Chestnut St. Please note access to these parking decks will be unavailable on Saturday, April 8th from 8:00 am-2pm, during the time of the Parade.

Wave Transit will offer shuttle service from Independence Mall to the Parade:

From: Independence Mall (in the parking lot located behind Firehouse Subs and Wells Fargo) to 4th St. between Chestnut St. and Princess St. in downtown Wilmington.

Time: Shuttle service will begin at 7:00 am and run until the Parade begins. Shuttles will run approximately every fifteen minutes. Following the Parade, express shuttle service will return passengers to Independence Mall until 2:00 pm.

The last shuttle will leave the downtown location at 1:45 pm and return to Independence Mall at 2:00 pm.

Tickets: Shuttle tickets can be purchased at this location. Fares are only $2.00 per way ($4.00 round trip) and change will be available. Tickets must be purchased with cash and children under the age of five ride free with a fare paying adult.

Wave Transit’s downtown transfer center will be relocated to 5th St. and Market St. from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm during the parade. Bus service will return to the regular downtown transfer center location at 2:00 pm. Those staying downtown after the parade ends can ride Wave Transit’s Route 202 bus directly from the downtown transfer center, located at 2nd St. and Princess St., to Independence Mall. Individuals can catch Route 202 from the downtown transfer center at the top of every hour from the hours of 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Click here for detailed information regarding Route 202. Pre-purchased shuttle tickets will be honored by the driver on Route 202.


Tour Bus Parking:

Tour buses can park at 4th/Nixon Street Lot or at the Dramtree Park Lot located under the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge.

Buses can unload people at the corner of 4th/Grace Street; then go back to 4th/Nixon Street Lot or the DramTree Park Lot to park the bus


ADA Parking:

Chestnut Street Parking Lot (beside Thalian Hall) will be used for those with approved Handicapped decals

Parking Information

Guests will park at Legion Stadium (2131 Carolina Beach Rd #B) and will be shuttled over to the event in a free trolley.

The Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour is a self-guided tour throughout the city of Wilmington. Parking is available at each location.
